Austria strongly supports the numerous efforts and activities of the United Nations, through its various organs, to strengthen the rule of law at the international level: the General Assembly, together with its Sixth Committee, the International Law Commission and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, play an important role in strengthening the rule of law through the codification and progressive development of international law.

Austria apoya firmemente las numerosas medidas y actividades que realizan las Naciones Unidas por conducto de sus diversos órganos para reforzar el estado de derecho en el nivel internacional: la Asamblea General, junto con su Sexta Comisión, la Comisión de Derecho Internacional y la Comisión de las Naciones Unidas para el Derecho Mercantil Internacional, desempeñan una función importante en el fortalecimiento del estado de derecho mediante la codificación y el desarrollo progresivo del derecho internacional.

L’Autriche appuie résolument les nombreux efforts et activités menés par l’ONU, par l’intermédiaire de ses divers organes, pour renforcer l’état de droit au niveau international. L’Assemblée générale et sa Sixième Commission, la Commission du droit international et la Commission des Nations Unies pour le droit commercial international jouent un rôle de premier plan dans le renforcement de l’état de droit en procédant à la codification et au développement progressif du droit international.
