Mit Gewißheit steht dieses Ziel im Zusammenhang mit so relevanten Fragen wie der Nahrungsmittelsicherheit, dem öffentlichen Dienst oder dem "geistigen Eigentum" und wirkt immer zugunsten einer verdeckten Liberalisierung des Finanzkapitals unter Mißachtung der ILO-Arbeitsnormen und international anerkannter Umweltnormen mit verhängnisvollen Konsequenzen für die kulturelle Identität der Völker und die unmittelbare Entwicklung von Dutzenden Ländern, vor allem der ärmsten.

This type of objective is cropping up in such topical matters as food safety, public services and "intellectual property" , always in favour of a blind liberalisation of capital and in disregard of ILO working standards and of environmental rules that have been accepted throughout the world. This objective has dangerous implications for people' s cultural identity and for the actual development of dozens of countries, particularly the poorest.

Lo cierto es que ese objetivo figura en torno a cuestiones tan relevantes como la seguridad alimentaria, los servicios públicos o la "propiedad intelectual", siempre a favor de una ciega liberalización del capital financiero y sin respetar las normas laborales de la OIT y las normas medioambientales internacionalmente aprobadas y con consecuencias nefastas para la identidad cultural de los pueblos y el propio desarrollo de decenas de países, en particular de los más pobres.
