Abstract: El objetivo del presente artículo es mostrar cómo las prácticas restaurativas son una alternativa al manejo tradicional de conflictos como una opción que permite fortalecer las relaciones sociales, disminuir los conflictos e intervenir sobre ellos, de manera que el ofensor asuma su responsabilidad sin cargar con la estigmatización de haber cometido la falta y el ofendido pueda ser escuchado y ser reparado involucrando no solo a las dos partes, sino también a toda la comunidad quien también se ve afectada cuando se presentan conflictos, permitiendo de esta manera un mayor sentido de pertenencia.
