Public information and awareness In reply to the Committee, the report states that special campaigns are organised in the Flemish Community to inform the public about various subjects such as alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking, eating habits and sexual behaviour.

En matière de sensibilisation au problème du tabagisme, la méthodologie de prévention la plus utilisée dans les écoles est le concours «classes sans tabac» (les élèves des classes du premier degré de l’enseignement secondaire qui participent à ce concours s’engagent, ensemble, à ne pas fumer pendant six mois).
