In managing PCIPI reform, the Delegation recommended that its current projects be divided into three sectors on the basis of their information technology aspects: the legal sector (which could continue within the scope of the current PCIPI Executive Coordination Committee); the development of standards sector (which should be reorganized under the current PCIPI/GI according to the information technology (IT) sensitivities of each project), and a new third sector for intellectual property-related data interchange (which might be established by creating an IT expert working group to devise contemporary IT solutions

La délégation a recommandé que, dans le cadre de la réorganisation du PCIPI, les projets actuels de celui-ci soient répartis, en fonction de leur teneur informatique, entre trois secteurs : le secteur juridique (qui pourrait être maintenu dans le cadre du Comité exécutif de coordination du PCIPI,) le secteur de l’élaboration des normes (qui devrait être réorganisé dans le cadre du PCIPI/GI actuel en fonction de la place occupée par les techniques de l’information dans chaque projet) et un troisième secteur, nouveau, réservé à l’échange de données liées à la propriété intellectuelle (qui pourrait résulter de la création d’un groupe d’experts en techniques de l’information chargé d’élaborer des solutions informatiques sous la supervision du PCIPI).
