The control unit, which executes at least a washing water-heating step and heated rinsing step by controlling the water supply unit, heater and washing pump on the basis of temperatures detected by a thermistor, detects dish volume by comparing the respective temperature increase rates of the washing water detected by the thermistor in the washing water-heating step and heated rinsing step.
