وكان تناول الأنيسول الخماسي الكلور يومياً في الوجبة الغذائية على مدار عمر الجرذان (سنتان) مصحوباً بزيادة حدوث التكثر النسيجي للب الكظري (زيادة في نمو الخلايا) في إناث الجرذان، وزيادة في حدوث تخضب في التكثر النسيجي للنبيبات الكظرية وظهارة الشم والخلية الكبدية في ذكور وإناث الجرذان.
