A terminal for the foregoing according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a storage unit for storing a messenger program capable of transceiving instant messages with one or more counterpart terminals; a display unit for displaying a variety of information and functions executed by means of the messenger program; and a control unit for controlling, when a user input corresponding to a pre-set condition is sensed, so as to display, via the display unit, the information storage screen from among the chat window screens capable of transceiving messages with one or more counterpart terminals via the messenger program, the information storage screen being the means by which a message and/or content transceived via the messenger program can be stored.

이를 위한 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 단말은 적어도 하나의 상대방 단말과 인스턴트 메시지(instant message) 송수신이 가능하도록 구성된 메신저 프로그램을 저장하는 저장부, 상기 메신저 프로그램을 통해 수행되는 다양한 기능 및 다양한 정보를 표시하는 표시부 및 상기 메신저 프로그램을 통해 적어도 하나의 상대방 단말과 메시지를 송수신할 수 있는 대화 창 화면에서 기 설정된 조건에 해당하는 사용자 입력이 감지되면, 상기 메신저 프로그램을 통해 송수신된 메시지 또는 컨텐츠 중 하나 이상이 저장되는 정보 스토리지(storage) 화면이 상기 표시부를 통해 표시되도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
