Die an 12 menschlichen Leichen durch synchrone Farbstoffinjektionen von Nilblausulfat in das Thyreoidalsystem und Eosinlösung in das Bronchialarteriensystem gewonnenen Untersuchungsergebnisse über die arteriellen Versorgungsverhältnisse der Trachea lassen erkennen, daß infolge der ausgedehnten Kollateralverbindungen auch bei ausgiebiger Freilegung der Trachea nicht die Gefahr einer Ernährungsstörung besteht.

Synchronus injections of the colour dye Nile blue sulphate into the thyreoidal system and of an eosin solution into the bronchial arterial system of 12 human cadavers produced detailed information on the arterial supply of the trachea. One can conclude that even extensive exposure of the trachea will, on account of the well developed collateral circulation, never cause any danger of an inadequate blood supply.
