Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von quaternären Carbonaten der Formel [A]+ [R2OCO2]-, in der [A]+ für ein quatemäres Ammonium-Kation, ein Phosphonium-Kation, ein Sulfonium-Kation oder ein heteroaromatisches Kation steht, durch Umsetzung eines Amines R1R2R3N der Formel (IIa), eines Phosphines R1R2R3P der Formel (IIb), eines Sulfides R1R2S der Formel (Hc) oder eines Heteroaromaten der Formel (IId), mit einem Alkyl- und/oder Arylcarbonat der Formel (III): R1'O(CO)OR2', wobei die Reste R1, R1', R2, R2', R3 die in der Beschreibung angegebene Bedeutung haben, in Gegenwart katalytischer Mengen einer Lewis-Säure.

Procédé de production de carbonates quaternaires de formule [A]+ [R2'OCO2]- dans laquelle [A]+ représente un cation d'ammonium quaternaire, un cation de phosphonium, un cation de sulfonium ou un cation hétéroaromatique, par mise en réaction d'une amine R1R2R3N de formule (IIa), d'une phosphine R1R2R3P de formule (IIb), d'un sulfure R1R2S de formule (IIc) ou d'un hétéroatome de formule (IId) avec un carbonate d'alkyle et / ou d'aryle de formule R1'O(CO)OR2', les restes R1, R1', R2, R2', R3 ayant la signification figurant dans le descriptif, en présence d'une quantité catalytique d'un acide de Lewis.
