The objective of the present invention is to increase the propagation velocity of flames in an area near the outer periphery of a combustion chamber in an internal combustion engine which is provided with an internal combustion engine body in which a combustion chamber is formed, and an ignition device for igniting an air-fuel mixture in the central part of the combustion chamber, and in which a combustion cycle is repeated in which the air-fuel mixture is ignited by the ignition device and combusted.

La présente invention a pour objectif d'augmenter la vitesse de propagation des flammes dans une région située à la périphérie externe de la chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne comprenant : un corps de moteur à combustion interne dans lequel est formée une chambre de combustion ; et un dispositif d'allumage qui permet d'allumer un mélange d'air et de carburant dans la partie centrale de la chambre de combustion, ledit moteur à combustion interne ayant un cycle de combustion répétitif au cours duquel le mélange d'air et de carburant est allumé par le dispositif d'allumage et est brûlé.
