وأعربت لجنة مناهضة التعذيب عن قلقها إزاء إمكانية احتجاز الأشخاص المشتبَه بارتكابهم جريمتي الخيانة والإرهاب لمدة 360 يوماً دون إمكانية إطلاق سراحهم بكفالة؛ وإزاء التفاوت بين العدد الكبير من الإفادات عن التعذيب وإساءة المعاملة من جهة، والعدد القليل جداً من إدانات مرتكبي هذه الجرائم من جهة أخرى(117).

CAT was also concerned about the possibility of detaining treason and terrorism suspects for 360 days without bail and about the disproportion between the high number of reports of torture and ill-treatment and the very small number of convictions for such offences.
