All 4 areas were evaluated at the time of the RAP and designated for No Further Action by by the GOE, Petroecuador and Texpet on the basis that areas 1 and 2 were first opened in 1990 and were closed by Petroecuador prior to the RAP in 1995 and areas 3 and 4 were sampled at the time of the RAP and were without hydrocarbon impacts.

Las 4 áreas se evaluaron al momento de implementar el RAP y se determinó que no era necesario que el GOE, Petroecuador ni Texpet llevaran a cabo más medidas considerando que las áreas 1 y 2 se abrieron inicialmente en 1990 y Petroecuador las cerró antes de la implementación del RAP en 1995, y que se analizaron muestras de las áreas 3 y 4 durante la aplicación de dicho plan, mediante las cuales se constató la ausencia de impacto de hidrocarburos.
