The Healthcare and Consumption Adviser, Rafael Bengoa, along with the Assistant Adviser of Healthcare, Jesús Mari Fernández, the Vice Rector of Research at the U.P.V./E.H.U., Miguel Ángle Gutiérrez, the Vice Rector of Social Responsibility and University Projection, Amaya Maseda, the General Director of Osakidetza, Julian Pérez, the Managing Director of Cruces University Hospital, Gregorio Achútegui, the Director of O-Iker, Carmen Garaizar, and the Scientific Director of the BioCruces Institute, Ildefonso Martínez de la Fuente, attended the event to present the new BioCruces Healthcare Research Institute, a Basque centre of biomedical and epidemiological research.
