واختتم وكيل الأمين العام إحاطته بأن شكر شعب وحكومة بوروندي لتعاونهما مع بعثة الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة الانتخابات في بوروندي وأعرب عن تقديره لبارفيه أونانغا - أنيانغا، الممثل الخاص للأمين العام، ولجنة بناء السلام، وصندوق بناء السلام، وجميع الجهات المانحة على الصعيد الثنائي لما قدموه من مساهمات في جهود الأمم المتحدة في بوروندي.

The Under-Secretary-General concluded by thanking the people and Government of Burundi for their cooperation with BNUB and expressed his appreciation to the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Parfait Onanga-Anyanga, the Peacebuilding Commission, the Peacebuilding Fund and all of the bilateral donors for their contribution to the United Nations efforts in Burundi.

El Secretario General Adjunto concluyó dando las gracias al pueblo y al Gobierno de Burundi por su cooperación con la BNUB y expresó su agradecimiento al Representante Especial del Secretario General, Sr. Parfait Onanga-Anyanga, la Comisión de Consolidación de la Paz, el Fondo para la Consolidación de la Paz y todos los donantes bilaterales por su contribución a las actividades de las Naciones Unidas en Burundi.
