Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (MRIF) $2,617,073 invested in Saint-Gabriel to rebuild its water supply and sewer systems Saint-Gabriel, November 13, 2006 – Acting on behalf of Nathalie Normandeau, Quebec’s Ministre des Affaires municipales et des Régions, David Whissell, Member of the National Assembly for Argenteuil and Député responsable de la région de Lanaudière, today joined Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Lévis–Bellechasse, acting on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, in announcing that the City of Saint-Gabriel will receive $1,744,716 in combined government funding under the Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (MRIF) to repair its water supply and sewer systems.

Fonds sur l’infrastructure municipale rurale (FIMR) Investissement de 2 617 073 $ à Saint-Gabriel pour la réfection des réseaux d’aqueduc et d’égout domestique Saint-Gabriel, le 13 novembre 2006 – Le député d’Argenteuil et député responsable de la région de Lanaudière, monsieur David Whissell, au nom de la ministre des Affaires municipales et des Régions, madame Nathalie Normandeau, ainsi que le député de Lévis–Bellechasse à la Chambre des Communes, monsieur Steven Blaney, au nom du ministre du Travail et ministre de Développement économique Canada, l’honorable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, sont heureux d’annoncer que la Ville de Saint-Gabriel bénéficiera d’une aide financière gouvernementale de 1 744 716 $, provenant du Fonds sur l’infrastructure municipale rurale (FIMR).
