تلاحظ اللجنة تطور عملية الإصلاح في مجال رعاية الطفل وإنشاء الفريق العامل المكلف بالبحث عن وسائل بديلة لإيداع الأطفال في المؤسسات، إلا أنها تعرب عن قلقها الشديد إزاء ضخامة عدد الأطفال المودعين في المؤسسات باعتبار ذلك تدبيراً من تدابير الحماية الاجتماعية.

The Committee notes the development of the Child Care Reform and the establishment of the Working Group for Alternatives to Institutionalization, but expresses its serious concern at the large number of children who are placed in institutions as a measure of social protection.
