The aim of the researches on the Carpathian Flysch we have undertaken from 1955 to 1966 was to investigate the region in the Eastern Carpathian Bend which is dominated by the Ciucaş-Zăganu Massif and included between the Vrancea semi-inlier, the Covasna and Teliu valleys to the North, the Doftana valley to the West, and the Paleogene Flysch to the East and South-East.

Nos recherches entreprises dans le Flysch carpatique entre les années 1955 et 1966 ont eu pour but d'étudier la région de la courbure des Carpates Orientales, dominé par le massif Ciucaş-Zăganu et comprise entre la demi-fenêtre de Vrancea, les vallées de Covasna et de Teliu au N., la vallée de Doftana à l'Ouest et le flysch paléogène à l'E. et au S. E.
