Soll mit der Verzögerungseinrichtung (3) eine Verzögerungszeit eingestellt werden, die geringer ist als die durch das Verzögerungselement (5) vorgegebene Verzögerungszeit, so wird nach dem Abbrennen eines vorgebbaren ersten Abschnittes des Verzögerungselementes (5) das Bypasselement aktiviert, so dass der verbleibende zweite Abschnitt des Verzögerungselementes (5) durch das Bypasselement überbrückt und die entsprechende Hauptladung (4) o.dgl. unmittelbar nach dem Abbrand des ersten Abschnittes gezündet wird.
