Vanadiumspuren in Titantetrachlorid werden ermittelt durch Ausschütteln der Tetraphenylarsoniumverbindung des Chlorokomplexes mit Methylenchlorid, Zurückschütteln mit Wasser und Bestimmung durch Atomabsorption. 0,72 ppm V wurden mit Abweichungen von etwa ± 10% bestimmt.

Traces of vanadium in titanium tetrachloride are determined by atomic absorption after extraction of the tetraphenylarsonium compound of the chloro complex by methylene chloride and backextraction into water. 0.72 ppm of V could be determined with deviations of about ± 10%.
