وفي هذا السياق، نرحب بالعرض الكريم الذي تقدمت به حكومة دولة قطر باستضافة مؤتمر قمة الجنوب الثاني لمجموعـة الـ 77 في الدوحة من 12 إلى 16 حزيران/يونيه 2005. كما نرحب بالعرض الكريم الذي تقدمت به حكومة كوبا باستضافة الدورة الحادية عشـرة للجنة الحكومية الدولية للمتابعة والتنسيق في مجال التعاون الاقتصادي فيما بين البلدان الناميـــة من 21 إلــى 23 آذار/مارس 2005، كجــزء من العمليـــة التحضيرية لمؤتمر القمة، بما يشمل متابعة نتائج مؤتمر قمة الجنوب الأول، فضلا عن استعراض تنفيذ برنامج عمل هافانا، خاصة في مجال التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب.

In this context, we welcome the generous offer by the Government of the State of Qatar to host the Group of 77 Second South Summit in Doha from 12 – 16 June 2005, as well as the generous offer by the Government of Cuba to host the Eleventh Session of the Intergovernmental Follow-up and Coordination Committee on Economic Cooperation among Developing Countries (IFCC-XI) from 21 to 23 March 2005 as a part of the preparatory process of the Summit, including the focus on the follow-up of the First South Summit outcome, as well as the review of the implementation of the Havana Programme of Action, particularly in the area of South-South cooperation.

En este contexto, acogemos con beneplácito la generosa oferta del Gobierno del Estado de Qatar de actuar como anfitrión de la Segunda Cumbre del Sur del Grupo de los 77, del 12 al 16 de junio de 2005, así como la generosa oferta del Gobierno de Cuba de actuar en tal carácter en la 11a reunión del Comité Intergubernamental de Seguimiento y Coordinación sobre la Cooperación Económica entre los Países en Desarrollo, que tendrá lugar del 21 al 23 de marzo de 2005 en el marco del proceso preparatorio de la Cumbre, y en el que se prestará especial atención, entre otras cosas, al seguimiento de los resultados de la Primera Cumbre del Sur, así como al examen de la aplicación del Programa de Acción de La Habana, en particular en el campo de la cooperación Sur-Sur.

À ce propos, nous nous félicitons de l’offre généreuse du Gouvernement qatarien d’accueillir le deuxième Sommet du Sud du Groupe des 77 à Doha du 12 au 16 juin 2005, ainsi que de l’offre généreuse du Gouvernement cubain d’accueillir la onzième session du Comité intergouvernemental de suivi et de coordination du Groupe des 77 pour la coopération économique entre les pays en développement du 21 au 23 mars 2005, dans le cadre des préparatifs du Sommet, comprenant notamment le suivi des textes issus du premier Sommet du Sud, ainsi que l’examen de la mise en œuvre du Programme d’action de La Havane, particulièrement en matière de coopération Sud-Sud.

В этой связи мы приветствуем щедрое предложение правительства Государства Катар провести вторую Встречу на высшем уровне стран Юга Группы 77 в Дохе с 12 по 16 июня 2005 года, а также щедрое предложение правительства Кубы провести у себя одиннадцатую сессию Межправительственного комитета по последующим действиям и координации в области экономического сотрудничества между развивающимися странами (МКПДК‐XI) 21–23 марта 2005 года в рамках подготовительного процесса к Встрече на высшем уровне, включая первоочередное рассмотрение последующих мер по итогам первой Встречи на высшем уровне стран Юга, а также обзор осуществления Гаванской программы действий, в частности в области сотрудничества Юг‐Юг.
