Due to complexity of the system as well as partial and one-sided ways of approach to this problem , the connection of many factors of hypothalamic , neurohypophysial and peripheral origin in the regulation of anterior pituitary hormone secretion , especially of adrenocorticotropin ( ACTH ) remains unclear .

Zbog kompleksnosti sustava kao i parcijalnih te jednostranih načina pristupa tom problemu , ostaje i dalje nejasna povezanost nekih regulatornih čimbenika hipotalamičkog , neurohipofizarnog i perifernog porijekla u regulaciji sekrecije hormona prednjeg režnja hipofize , osobito kortikotropina ( ACTH ) .
