45 Könnten daher, wie im vorliegenden Fall von Herrn Hume vorgetragen, die beiden wöchentlichen Ruhezeiten getrennt voneinander eingelegt werden, mit der Folge, daß die in der jeweiligen Woche einzulegende wöchentliche Ruhezeit auf die nächste Woche übertragen würde, so hätte dies auch zur Folge, daß die eigentlich vorgeschriebenen Ruhezeiten nicht eingehalten würden, sondern immer wieder auf die Folgewochen übertragen werden könnten.

Consequently, if it were possible, as Mr Hume submits in the present case, to take the two weekly rest periods separately, in such a way as to postpone the weekly rest period to be taken in a given week to the following week, this would mean that the rest periods actually prescribed would not be adhered to; instead, they could be constantly postponed, ad infinitum, to the next following week.
