After years of the infiltration of South Korean pop culture into North Korea now it appears to be common knowledge for North Korea's urban residents that South Korea is far richer and freer than they are - South Korea now ranks as the world's 13th largest economy and a democracy, while North Korea remains a poor dictatorship.

남한의 대중 문화가 침투하기 시작된 지 몇 년이 지난 지금, 북한의 도시 거주자들에게 남한이 북한보다 더 부유하고 자유롭다는 사실은 상식인 듯하다. 남한은 현재 세계13위의 경제 대국이며 민주 국가인 반면 북한은 여전히 빈곤한 독재 국가이다.
