This area features great geodiversity and its spectacular landscapes that tell more than 650 million years of geological incredible history through places like the canyons of the rivers Tajo and Gallo, the river block Orea, the dropstone, outcrop of graptolites in Checa, the Natural Monument Sierra de Caldereros, the Mesa Valley, Permian fossil trees in the Sierra de Aragoncillo or GSSP Stratotype section of Fuentelsaz, recognized by International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) as the best fossil record worldwide the boundary between the lower and middle Jurassic, among many others .

Este territorio destaca por su gran geodiversidad y por la espectacularidad de sus paisajes que relatan más de 650 millones de años de una increíble historia geológica a través de parajes como los cañones de los ríos Tajo y Gallo, el río de bloques de Orea, el dropstone, el Aragoncillo o el Estratotipo GSSP de Fuentelsaz, reconocido por Unión Internacional de Ciencias Geológicas (IUGS) como el mejor registro fósil a nivel mundial del límite entre el Jurásico inferior y medio, entre otros muchos más.
