A plastic ribbon (28) is wound about an axis into a tube with one edge of each lap overlapping and heat-bonded to an edge of the preceding lap as the tubing is rotated; a conductive wire (38) is embedded in the ribbon; and a bead (32) is applied and heat-sealed onto the tubing, encapsulating the conductive wire (38) during rotation of the tubing (18), providing a unitary structure including a conductive wire (38) integral to a flexible tubing (18) having a corrugated crevice-free outside and a smooth inside.

A cet effet, un ruban en plastique (28) est enroulé autour d'un axe jusqu'à former un tube. Pendant la rotation du tube, l'un des bords de chaque tour de ruban vient chevaucher un bord du tour de ruban précédent, auquel il est thermosoudé; un fil conducteur (38) est incorporé dans le ruban; et une nervure (32) est appliquée et thermoscellée sur le tube, de façon à enrober le fil conducteur (38) pendant la rotation du tube (18), afin de former une structure unitaire comportant un fil conducteur (38) faisant partie intégrante d'un tube flexible (18), lequel présente une face externe ondulée sans fissure et une face interne lisse.
