وهناك حاجة إلى ربط البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، ولا سيما وضع كابلات الألياف البصرية، بمشاريع البنية التحتية للإمداد بالماء والغاز والكهرباء، وعند الاقتضاء، ينبغي أن يتزامن بناء البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات مع أشغال شق الطرق ومد خطوط الأنابيب.

There is a need to associate ICT infrastructure, particularly the laying of fibre optic cables, to the provision of water, gas and electricity infrastructure projects and, where appropriate, the building of ICT infrastructures should be timed with road and pipeline-laying works.

Необходимо обеспечивать увязку инфраструктуры ИКТ, в частности прокладку волоконно-оптических кабелей, с инфраструктурными проектами в секторах водо-, газо- и электроснабжения и в необходимых случаях согласовывать строительство инфраструктурных объектов ИКТ по срокам с проведением дорожных работ и прокладкой трубопроводов.
