These sequences, along with those previously reported for the KP1 (+) and KP1 (-) H14 and C23 strains, were used to reconstruct phylogenetic trees based on the "neighbor-joining", maximum parsimony and maximum likelihood methods. The Y strain of Trypanosoma cruzi was chosen as the outgroup.

Dichas secuencias, junto con las reportadas para las cepas C23 KP1(-) y H14 KP1(+), fueron utilizadas para la reconstrucción de árboles filogenéticos basados en los métodos de neighbor-joining, máxima parsimonia y máxima verosimilitud, utilizando la cepa Y de Trypanosoma cruzi como grupo raíz externo.
