Und doch ist es aberwitzig zu glauben, dass die Euroskeptiker eine schweigende Mehrheit wären, die sich erheben und die EU zerstören könnte. Die Zustimmung für das europäische Projekt ging in den letzten 25 Jahren kaum zurück und ist in letzter Zeit sogar wieder gestiegen.

Yet it is ludicrous to think that Euroskeptics represent a silent majority that could rise up and destroy the EU. Popular support for the European project has barely faltered over the last 25 years, and has even begun to strengthen of late.
