The Committee requests that the secretariat address the knowledge gap in the formulation of regional trade agreements (RTAs) and the evaluation of the impact of RTAs in diverse areas (including trade in services, reduction of sensitive lists for tariff liberalization, rules of origin issues, and non-tariff barriers and standards) through the Asia-Pacific Research and Training Network on Trade (ARTNeT).

Le Comité a demandé au secrétariat de remédier au déficit de connaissance concernant la formulation des accords commerciaux et l’évaluation de l’impact de ces accords dans différents domaines (tels que le commerce des services, la réduction des listes de produits sensibles en matière de libéralisation tarifaire, les règles d’origine, et les obstacles et normes non tarifaires) à travers le Réseau Asie-Pacifique de recherche et de formation commerciales (ARTNeT).

Комитет просил секретариат продолжать деятельность по наращиванию торгового потенциала, то есть помощь в интересах торговли, и содействию сотрудничеству Юг-Юг в этой области, особенно в рамках Программы технической помощи ВТО/ЭСКАТО. Эти мероприятия должны включать в себя оказание помощи странам в процессе присоединения к Всемирной торговой организации (ВТО).
