ومن خلال الأنشطة التي يقوم بها الأعضاء المنتسبون للاتحاد، على الصعيد الوطني، ومن خلال تعاونه الدائم مع الهيئات الحكومية الدولية، على الصعيد الدولي (منظمة الأمم المتحدة، والاتحاد الأوروبي، ومجلس أوروبا، والمؤتمر الأوروبي لوزراء النقل)، يعمل الاتحاد على ما يلي: تعزيز حرية التنقل عن طريق ركوب السيارات على نحو يتسم بميسورية الكلفة والمأمونية والنظافة؛ والدفاع عن حقوق المستهلكين أثناء سفرهم بالسيارات؛ ودعم تنسيق القواعد المتعلقة بصنع السيارات، واستخدامها (الهياكل الأساسية، وقواعد المرور، وعلامات وإشارات المرور)؛ وحماية مستخدمي الطرق من الضرائب التعسفية والتشريعات التقييدية؛ وتعزيز السياحة ”الذكية“ التي تهدف، من خلال ما يتاح من توعية ومعلومات للأعضاء المنتسبين للاتحاد وللجمهور عامة، إلى الحد من السياحة التي يمكن أن تضر بالبيئة، وتشجيع السياحة المراعية للثقافات الوطنية والإقليمية والمحلية.

Through the activities of its affiliated members at national level and its permanent cooperation with intergovernmental bodies at international level (UNO, EU, Council of Europe, ECMT) the FIA works: to promote freedom of mobility through affordable, safe, and clean motoring; to defend the rights of consumers when travelling by automobile; to support harmonisation of rules with respect to automobile manufacture and to automobile use (infrastructures, traffic rules, road signs and signals); to protect road users from abusive taxation and restrictive legislation; and to promote “intelligent” tourism which aims, through education and information made available to FIA affiliated members and to the public at large, to limit tourism which can damage the environment and to encourage tourism which is sensitive to national, regional and local cultures.

Mediante las actividades de sus miembros en el ámbito nacional y su cooperación permanente con órganos intergubernamentales internacionales (las Naciones Unidas, la Unión Europea, el Consejo de Europa, la Conferencia Europea de Ministros de Transporte), la Federación promueve la libertad de transporte en vehículos accesibles, seguros y no contaminantes; defiende los derechos de los automovilistas como consumidores; apoya la armonización de normas para la fabricación y el uso de automóviles (infraestructura, leyes de tránsito, señales viales); protege a los automovilistas de impuestos excesivamente elevados y legislación restrictiva y promueve un turismo “inteligente”, que no dañe el medio ambiente, y alienta las actividades turísticas respetuosas de las culturas nacionales, regionales y locales, educando e informando a sus afiliados y al público en general.

国际汽联通过其附属成员在国家一级的活动以及与政府间机构在国际一级的长期合作(联合国组织、欧盟、欧洲理事会、欧洲交通部长会议),开展了各项工作:以通过负担得起、安全和清洁汽车旅行,促进流动自由;通过驾车旅行维护消费者的权益;支持汽车制造和汽车使用的统一规则(基础设施、交通规则、路标和信号);保障道路使用者不受恶劣税收和限制性立法的干扰;并促进“明智”旅游,目的是通过向国际汽联联系成员和广大公众开展教育和信息宣传,限制那些破坏环境的旅游,而鼓励开展对国家、区域和地方文化有敏感认识的旅游。
