This mobile communication method involves: a step (A) in which a mobile station (UE#1) and a mobile station (UE#2) transmit, to a wireless base station (eNB), information necessary for scheduling; a step (B) in which, on the basis of the received information necessary for scheduling, the wireless base station (eNB) transmits, to the mobile station (UE#1) and the mobile station (UE#2), scheduling information which instructs the mobile station (UE#1) and the mobile station (UE#2) to perform direct communication therebetween without the intervention of the wireless base station (eNB); and a step (C) in which the mobile station (UE#1) and the mobile station (UE#2) transmit and receive data signals on the basis of the scheduling information, without the intervention of the wireless base station (eNB).
