He was pleased that bilateral negotiations had begun between Namibia and Germany to compensate the descendants of the Herero people for the atrocities committed at the beginning of the twentieth century and wished to know whether claims could be addressed to the South African Government concerning the wrongful acts committed by the apartheid regime against the San people.
