The relief effort began with the distribution of tents, blankets, and sheeting—assistance greatly appreciated by the families of Lammi Patti who, like 2.8 million Pakistanis, lost their homes in the October 8, 2005, earthquake. With winter approaching, the lives of hundreds of thousands of homeless individuals were threatened. World Vision contributed generously to the huge operation to protect them from the cold.

Une intervention très appréciée par les familles de Lammi Patti qui, comme 2,8 millions de Pakistanais, n’avaient plus de toit à la suite du séisme du 8 octobre 2005. Alors que l’approche de l’hiver menaçait les vies de centaines de milliers de personnes sans abri, Vision mondiale a contribué généreusement à la vaste opération visant à protéger ces personnes du froid.
