The present invention relates to a high-purity polypropylene, and a method for preparing same, and more specifically, provides a catalyst for the polymerization and copolymerization of a high-molecular-weight polyolefin having a low melt index, wherein a catalyst component is prepared using a supported metallocene catalyst and a titanocene compound or a half-titanocene compound so as to have an excellent catalytic activity, and relates to an olefin polymerization or copolymerization method using same.

본 발명은 고순도의 폴리프로필렌 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 좀더 상세하게는 메탈로센 담지 촉매와 티타노센 화합물 또는 하프 티타노센 화합물을 사용하여 촉매 성분을 제조함으로써 촉매활성이 우수하며, 저용융지수를 가지는 고분자량의 폴리올레핀 중합 및 공중합용 촉매를 제공하고, 이를 사용하는 올레핀 중합 또는 공중합 방법에 관한 것이다.
