ولذلك نحن نحتاج إلى تنفيذ سياسات وثقافة تنظيمية للتوفيق بين متطلبات العمل والأُمومة لتمكين المرأة من الحمل وتنشئة الأطفال دون أن ترغمها الشركة على التخلي عن مستقبلها المهني، أو بعبارة أخرى، يلزم أن يكون بإمكان المرأة التوقف عن العمل لفترة ما دون أن يتعرّض عملها للخطر.

We therefore need to implement policies and an organizational culture that reconcile the demands of work and motherhood, to enable women to bear and raise children without being forced by their firm to give up their professional career; in other words, it needs to be possible for women to simply stop working for a period without putting their job at risk.

Исходя из этого, нам следует проводить политику и внедрять организационную культуру, которые благоприятствовали бы сочетанию трудовой деятельности и выполнения материнских обязанностей, чтобы женщины могли рожать и воспитывать детей, не будучи вынужденными под нажимом со стороны бизнеса отказываться от профессиональной карьеры, или же иметь возможность просто принять решение об уходе с работы на определенный срок, не рискуя при этом потерять работу совсем.
