It is understood that these initiatives in themselves will not be able to deal specifically with the problem of alcopops. However, in the long term, they will enable us to establish a Community framework to better inform all citizens, especially young people, about the dangers of alcohol abuse.

Se entiende que estas iniciativas, como tales, no podrán resolver específicamente el problema de los alcopops, pero, a largo plazo, permitirán establecer un marco comunitario dirigido a informar mejor a todos los ciudadanos, y sobre todo a los jóvenes, de los peligros asociados al consumo abusivo de alcohol.

Met deze initiatieven op zich zullen we het probleem van de “alcopops” natuurlijk niet direct oplossen, maar ze maken wel de weg vrij voor de invoering op langere termijn van een communautair kader op basis waarvan we alle burgers, en met name jongeren, beter kunnen voorlichten over de gevaren van overmatig alcoholgebruik.
