An organic electroluminescent element which comprises an anode, a cathode, and an organic thin film layer arranged between the anode and the cathode and comprising at least three light-emitting layers, wherein the organic thin film layer comprises a first light-emitting layer on the anode side, a second light-emitting layer on the cathode side, and a third light-emitting layer intercalated between the first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer, each of the first, second and third light-emitting layers contains a phosphorescent dopant, and each of the first and second light-emitting layers contains a fused polycyclic aromatic derivative as a host material.

L'invention porte sur un élément électroluminescent organique qui comprend une anode, une cathode et une couche en film mince organique agencée entre l'anode et la cathode et comprenant au moins trois couches d'émission de lumière, la couche en film mince organique comprenant une première couche d'émission de lumière sur le côté anode, une deuxième couche d'émission de lumière sur le côté cathode, et une troisième couche d'émission de lumière intercalée entre la première couche d'émission de lumière et la deuxième couche d'émission de lumière, chacune des première, deuxième et troisième couches d'émission de lumière contenant un dopant phosphorescent, et chacune des première et deuxième couches d'émission de lumière contenant un dérivé aromatique polycyclique fusionné en tant que matériau hôte.
