The main goal of this project is to promote the sustained development of the hill areas of the Algarve, through the enrichment of its culture and the consolidation of small economic local initiatives, which will become the backbone of a network of rural paths, integrating and interconnecting paths that already exist (for instance in Cachopo, Barranco do Velho, S. Bartolomeu de Messines or Monchique), thus enabling the creation of similar projects in other places.

El objetivo principal de este proyecto es promover el desarrollo sustentado de las regiones serranas del Algarve, por intermedio de la valorización de su patrimonio cultural y ambiental, y de la consolidación de pequeñas iniciativas económicas locales, asumiendo-se en el futuro como a espina-dorsal de una rede algarvia de caminos rurales, integrando y conectando recorridos existentes (por ejemplo en Cachopo, Barranco do Velho, S. Bartolomeu de Messines o Monchique), potenciando así la creación de proyectos semejantes en otros locales.
