The Committee welcomes the State party’s efforts to address the development of rural women, including through its National Action Plan for the Advancement of Rural Women, the adoption of mechanisms for its coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and the creation of outreach centres (“pôles de rayonnement”) in rural areas.
