Ein Teil der Fasern trennt sich nach seinem Eintritt in die Medulla oblongata vom Hauptstamm der Bahnen des Nerven IX und X und mündet als eigene anguläre Formation zwischen dem dorso-medianen Rand des Tractus spinalis Nervi Trigemini und dem Burdachschen Bündel.

One portion of these fibres after entering the Medulla oblongata is separated from the main course of the fibres of the IX and X nerves and is inserted as a distinct angular formation between the dorso-median margin of the spinal tract of the fifth nerve and the column of Burdach.
