The purpose of cooperation in this area shall be the pursuit of agrarian reform and the reform of agricultural structures, the modernisation, privatisation and restructuring of agriculture, stock farming and the agro-industrial and services sectors in the Republic of Tajikistan, and the development of domestic and foreign markets for Tajik products, in conditions that ensure the protection of the environment, taking into account the necessity to improve security of food supply and to develop agri-business and the processing and distribution of agricultural products. The Parties shall also pursue the gradual approximation of Tajik standards to Community technical regulations concerning industrial and agricultural food products, including sanitary and phytosanitary standards

Dans ce domaine, la coopération vise à promouvoir la réforme agraire et des structures agricoles, la modernisation, la lutte contre les maladies, la privatisation et la restructuration de l'agriculture, de l'élevage, du secteur agro-industriel et du secteur des services dans la République du Tadjikistan, à développer des marchés nationaux et internationaux pour les produits tadjiks, dans des conditions assurant la protection de l'environnement, compte tenu de la nécessité d'améliorer la sécurité de l'approvisionnement alimentaire, le développement du complexe agro-industriel, la transformation et la distribution de produits agricoles. A cooperação neste sector terá por objectivo a prossecução das reformas agrárias e das estruturas agrícolas, a modernização, privatização e reestruturação da agricultura, da pecuária, do sector agro-industrial e do sector dos serviços da República do Tajiquistão e o desenvolvimento dos mercados interno e externos para os produtos tajiquistaneses, em condições que assegurem a protecção do ambiente, tendo em conta a necessidade de melhorar a segurança do abastecimento de produtos alimentares, o desenvolvimento do complexo agro-industrial, a transformação e distribuição de produtos agrícolas. As partes procurarão igualmente aproximar progressivamente as normas tajiquistanesas da regulamentação técnica comunitária relativa a produtos agro-alimentares e industriais, incluindo normas sanitárias e fitossanitárias
