In 2002, a vaccination campaign was carried out in all the temporary camps in the city of Rome by the Group Immigration and Health (GrIS) — Gypsy Area of Latium (a group comprising staff from the public and third sectors and volunteers that has been operating in Rome for 10 years) in an initiative entitled “Health Without Exclusion”.
