It considers, however, that the information deficit identified by the evaluator in the implementation of the Culture 2000 programme, which superseded the old programmes, has largely been overcome, since information concerning this programme is available from a number of sources, such as the Official Journal of the European Communities, the "Culture 2000" Internet site and the Cultural Contact Points.
