كما أن ممارسة المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي عقد اجتماع سنوي رفيع المستوى مع مؤسسات بريتون وودز ومنظمة التجارة العالمية ومؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية ممارسة قيّمة أيضا. ونرى أن هذه الممارسة ينبغي أن تستمر، مع مراعاة السلطات والولايات وأساليب اتخاذ القرارات المعمول بها في المؤسسات المعنية
