وأبرزت وكيلة الأمين العام/المديرة التنفيذية النتائج التي تحققت حتى الآن، وقالت إن ”أصوات النساء والرجال والشبان يتردد صداها في جميع أنحاء العالم بأن الكيل قد طفح“، وأضافت أن ”ثمـة نداء على النطاق العالمي من أجل اتخاذ إجراء لإنهاء الإفلات من العقاب وحماية حق المرأة والفتاة في حياة خالية من العنف والتمييز“.

In highlighting results achieved so far, the Under-Secretary-General/Executive Director stated that “the voices of women, men and young people are echoing throughout the world, saying enough is enough”, and added “there is a worldwide call to action to end the impunity and protect the rights of women and girls to live free of violence and discrimination”.
