エンジン内部とラジエタ13との間で冷却水を循環させるメイン流路と、エンジン内部とヒータコア15との間で冷却水を循環させるヒータ流路と、冷却水の温度に感応して作動し、上記メイン流路の冷却水の循環を選択的に許容及び遮断するサーモスタット18と、を備える車両の冷却装置において、上記ヒータ流路を、エンジンの暖機中にラジエタ13を介することなく冷却水を循環させるバイパス流路としても機能するヒータ/バイパス流路として使用するようにした。
