»Vom Augenblick der Festsetzung des Beginns der Wahlhandlungen bis zur öffentlichen Bekanntmachung der erfolgten Wahl des Papstes oder jedenfalls bis zum Zeitpunkt, den der neue Papst festgelegt haben wird, werden die Räumlichkeiten der Domus Sanctae Marthae, insbesondere aber die Sixtinische Kapelle und die für die liturgischen Feiern bestimmten Räume für die nichtautorisierten Personen unter der Autorität des Kardinal-Camerlengo und unter der äußeren Mitwirkung des Vize-Camerlengos und des Substituten des Staatssekretariats geschlossen, gemäß dem, was in den folgenden Nummern festgelegt worden ist.

"From the time established for the beginning of the electoral process until the public announcement that the election of the Supreme Pontiff has taken place, or in any case until the new Pope so disposes, the rooms of the Domus Sanctae Marthae, and in particular the Sistine Chapel and the areas reserved for liturgical celebrations are to be closed to unauthorized persons, by the authority of the Cardinal Camerlengo and with the outside assistance of the Vice-Camerlengo and of the Substitute of the Secretariat of State, in accordance with the provisions set forth in the following Numbers.

«Desde el momento en que se ha dispuesto el comienzo del proceso de la elección hasta el anuncio público de que se ha realizado la elección del Sumo Pontífice o, de todos modos, hasta cuando así lo ordene el nuevo Pontífice, los locales de la Domus Sanctae Marthae, como también y de modo especial la Capilla Sixtina y las zonas destinadas a las celebraciones litúrgicas, deben estar cerrados a las personas no autorizadas, bajo la autoridad del Cardenal Camarlengo y con la colaboración externa del Vicecamarlengo y del Sustituto de la Secretaría de Estado, según lo establecido en los números siguientes.
