본 발명에 의한 외장형 전자기기는, 출입구를 갖는 하우징과, 출입구를 개폐할 수 있도록 하우징에 회동 가능하게 결합된 레버와, 출입구를 통해 하우징의 외부로 돌출될 수 있도록 하우징의 내부에 이동 가능하게 설치된 접속단자와, 레버와 연동하여 접속단자를 이동시키기 위해 하우징의 내부에 레버와 연결되도록 설치된 슬라이딩 장치를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의한 외장형 전자기기는, 사용할 때는 접속단자를 하우징의 외부로 돌출시키고 사용하지 않을 때는 접속단자를 하우징 내부로 후퇴시키고 출입구를 밀폐함으로써, 접속단자를 오염 및 파손으로부터 보호할 수 있다.
