Zu den Säulen der medikamentösen Therapie gehört nach wie vor die Chemotherapie, die sog. gezielte Therapie bei genetischen Alterationen im EGFR- oder ALK-Gen und zukünftig sicher weiteren Zielen sowie seit neuem auch die Immuntherapie mit Antikörpern gegen Epitope mit immunmodulatorischer Funktion wie PD-L1 und PD-1.

The cornerstones of pharmaceutical therapy are still chemotherapy, so-called targeted therapy for patients harboring genetic alterations in the EGFR and ALK genes and in the future certainly other targets as well as the recently introduced immunotherapy with antibodies against epitopes with immunomodulatory functions, such as PD-L1 and PD-1.
